Hong, a third-generation acupuncturist and Chinese medicine doctor has dedicated her career to promoting holistic health and well-being. Graduating from the esteemed Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in 1991, she embarked on a journey to blend traditional Chinese healing practices with modern approaches.
After completing a rigorous 5-year acupuncture program, Hong began her professional practice in the Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine department of the 7th Hospital of Harbin, China. During her five-year tenure, she honed her skills and gained invaluable experience in treating a diverse range of health conditions.
In pursuit of expanding her horizons and sharing her expertise globally, Hong ventured abroad. Her international practice included serving patients in China, Japan, Canada, and the USA. Her commitment to excellence and patient care earned her national certification in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
For over six years, Hong played a pivotal role in the Gao Acupuncture Center in Maryland, where she achieved outstanding outcomes in pain management, fibromyalgia, peripheral neuropathy, post-stroke recovery, Lyme disease, infertility, PMS, menopause, insomnia, digestive problems, autoimmune disorders, and various other ailments.
In her relentless pursuit of knowledge and passion for holistic healing, Hong recently relocated to Michigan. Her transition signifies a commitment to providing her unique blend of traditional Chinese medicine and contemporary wellness practices to a new community.
Hong's approach to healthcare is rooted in partnership. She collaborates with her patients, understanding their unique lifestyles, constitutional factors, and health goals. By meeting individuals on their healing journey, Hong tailors treatment plans that integrate acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and lifestyle adjustments.
